We recommend that you store your jewellery in dry, rather than damp, rooms wherever possible. In fact, however, the silver in noën jewellery does not react with the oxygen in the air, but with trace amounts of hydrogen sulphide present in it. This causes what is known as silver sulphide to form on the surface of the silver jewellery. And this, in turn, is what causes the dark to brownish-black discolouration. Some skincare products can accelerate this process. Therefore, please put on your jewellery only after applying any skincare products.
For daily care, you can gently and carefully wipe your jewellery with a damp cloth. If you are not wearing it for a prolonged period, try to store it in a dark place, for example in a small zip-lock bag.
Only put on your jewellery after applying skincare products. These may damage your jewellery. We also recommend that you take off your jewellery before going to bed, having a shower, doing housework, exercising and swimming.
